What is application monitoring and why does my business need it?
Application monitoring checks whether sites, APIs, and jobs respond as expected — and alerts you when they do not. Downtime you discover from customers costs more than proactive alerts. Echo is our live product for scheduled checks and public status pages; we also build custom monitoring stacks.
What is the difference between application monitoring and server monitoring?
Server monitoring watches CPU, disk, and host health. Application monitoring asks whether the user-facing path works (HTTP, TCP, heartbeats). You usually need both: hosts can be “up” while checkout still fails. We focus on application and dependency checks that map to real customer impact.
How do we set up alerts without alert fatigue?
Alert on state changes that someone will act on, route by severity, and suppress flapping. Echo supports email/Slack/webhooks with clear status history; for custom setups we design thresholds, quiet hours, and escalation so the night page is rare and useful.
What are the main challenges in embedded systems projects?

What is the difference between embedded and firmware engineering?
Firmware is the software that runs on device MCUs/SoCs; embedded engineering often includes that firmware plus board bring-up, protocols, and the edge/cloud path operators use. We cover firmware through gateway and dashboard work so the product is complete, not just a binary on a chip.
How much does it cost to build an IoT solution?

Is IoT security a real concern?
